If you are unable to walk with us but would still like to participate, candy donations are appreciated. Donations can be dropped off at the Victory Center located at 121 2nd Street in downtown Hudson Tuesday-Saturday between 12-4 PM. Thank you for your participation!

Lineup Timing & Details

  • We are #83 in the lineup.
  • All parade units must be in position by 11:00 AM in parade staging area.
  • Volunteers will be available to assist — please treat them with kindness!
  • The parade will start promptly at 12:00 PM.
  • Candy is allowed, toss gently toward the curb.

ARRIVAL & LINEUP INSTRUCTIONS

PARADE LINEUP ENTRANTS

All access to the parade lineup area must come from Hwy 63 (unless designated as a Legion Entrant or Drop Off).

Lineup on 70th Ave east of the American Legion.

From I-94

  • Best Route: North on Hwy 63 → East on 55th Ave → North on 220th St
  • Alternate Route: North on Hwy 63 → East on Cedar St

From Southbound Hwy 63

  • Best Route: South on Hwy 63 → East on Cedar St
  • Alternate Route: South on Hwy 63 → East on 55th Ave → North on 220th St
  • Only entries actually going through the parade will be allowed in parade line up area.

If participants need transportation to your lineup location, please have them follow the drop-off instructions below. Again, only approved parade entries will be allowed into the parade lineup area.

DROP-OFF INFORMATION

If you are transporting participants and the driver/vehicle is not the actual parade unit you must use drop-off:

  • Use Maple Street & 6th Avenue
  • Shuttle service will be available to the lineup area
  • Please arrive before 11:30 AM
  • Wait times may occur

CANDY & GIVEAWAYS

Candy and giveaways are welcome!

Please remember:

  • Toss items gently toward the curb
  • Never throw items directly at spectators
  • Never throw items into the street
  • Do not hand out items if children approach your unit
  • Encourage children to remain safely on the curb

IMPORTANT PARADE RULES

  • All units must be in position by 11:00 AM
  • Follow all instructions from parade staff and volunteers
  • Treat volunteers with kindness and respect
  • Maintain a safe distance from the unit in front of you
  • Drivers must remain attentive and operate vehicles safely at all times
  • All participants must remain on or with their assigned unit unless directed otherwise
  • Help us keep the parade family-friendly, safe, and enjoyable for everyone

Failure to follow parade rules may result in removal from the parade lineup and may affect future participation.

PARADE END & TEAR DOWN

At the conclusion of the parade:

  • Turn left, then right to access the Elementary and High School parking lots
  • Use school parking lots for unloading and tear down
  • DO NOT stop or dismantle your entry on side streets
